By creating an account, joining a company, or using Taskynx, you agree to these Terms and the Taskynx Privacy Policy. If you use Taskynx for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.

These Terms govern use of Taskynx, a workforce operations service operated by Æffinityone LLC.

Using Taskynx
Business Use
Taskynx is designed for legitimate workplace communication and operations. It does not replace an employer's legal, safety, payroll, human-resources, or regulatory responsibilities.
Accounts and Roles
You must provide accurate information and protect your credentials. Features and records depend on company membership and roles assigned by company ownership or authorized leadership.
Company Responsibility
Companies control their invited members, schedules, assignments, work areas, moderation decisions, and lawful basis for collecting or reviewing workplace information.
Workplace Content and Conduct
Your Content
You retain rights in content you submit. You grant Æffinityone a limited license to host, process, transmit, display, and back up that content as needed to operate, secure, and support Taskynx.
Work Records
Messages, schedules, assignments, check-ins, proof photos, escalations, notices, audits, and operational activity may be visible to authorized company leadership and retained as company records.
Acceptable Use
Do not use Taskynx for unlawful activity, harassment, discrimination, impersonation, unauthorized surveillance, malicious access, rights violations, or interference with another user, company, or service.
Permissions
Only upload workplace content you are authorized to share. Companies are responsible for notices, permissions, and policies required for employee, contractor, location, or customer information.
Subscriptions and Availability
Company Plans
Paid access is associated with a verified company and its selected company-size tier. Available functionality may also depend on role, verification, platform status, and store entitlement.
Store Billing
Subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google and may renew automatically until canceled through the store account used to subscribe. Store pricing, eligibility, taxes, refunds, renewal, and cancellation rules apply.
Trials
A trial is available only when shown and confirmed by the applicable store. Eligibility is controlled by the store and is not guaranteed for every account or company.
Service Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, technical requirements, or plans. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Safety Review and Moderation
Automated Safety Signals
Taskynx may automatically evaluate chat text for language associated with threats, violence, or targeted harm. A detection is a lead for human review and is not, by itself, a finding that a user violated these Terms.
Reported-Message Context
A user report or automated safety signal may preserve the selected message and up to four recent messages preceding it, together with relevant sender, reporter, timestamp, and proof-reference information, so an authorized reviewer can consider context.
Review Actions
Authorized Æffinityone safety administrators may dismiss a report, request or review additional context, limit or ban an account, force a new sign-in, hide a chat, or place a chat in read-only or closed status when reasonably necessary to protect users, companies, or the service.
Company Decisions
Taskynx safety tools do not replace emergency services, workplace investigations, due process, or an employer's legal and safety duties. Companies remain responsible for employment, discipline, reporting, and emergency decisions.
Analytics and Measurement
The Taskynx mobile app uses Firebase Analytics on iOS and Android and Meta App Events on Android only to record app usage, onboarding, feature, checkout, and subscription events as described in the Taskynx Privacy Policy. Meta App Events is not initialized by the iOS app. Taskynx does not currently provide a separate in-app switch for the analytics services used on each platform.
Account Deletion
The standard Delete Account control in Profile schedules deletion. Company access, chat membership, assignments, notification targeting, and presence are removed or disabled immediately. The requesting device signs out and authentication refresh tokens are revoked. A 30-day recovery period follows before the authentication account, Taskynx profile, personal settings, and profile subrecords are permanently deleted. Signing in during that recovery period may restore the account and supported company access. Separately, an additional employer who is not the primary company owner may use Delete Employer Account in the Owner Dashboard. That control immediately removes employer access, marks the employer profile as deleted and terminated, signs the user out, and attempts to delete the authentication account; it does not provide the standard 30-day in-app recovery period. A primary company owner cannot use either route until ownership is transferred or the company is closed with Taskynx support. Shared workplace and company-level billing records remain as described in the Privacy Policy and may continue to identify the submitting user by name, user identifier, message text, timestamps, or attached evidence. Deleting an account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription.
Enforcement, Liability, and Contact
Companies may moderate access within their workspace. Æffinityone may restrict access to protect users, companies, the platform, or comply with law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Taskynx is provided as available without liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages.
