Taskynx Legal

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 12, 2026

This policy explains how Æffinityone LLC processes information when companies and their team members use Taskynx.

Information Taskynx processes

Account and Company Data

Name, email, username, role, company association, invitations, profile settings, account status, business verification information, and company configuration.

Workplace Activity

Schedules, assignments, task responses, check-ins, work areas, work status, proof activity, timestamps, completion records, audits, and performance-related operational records.

Communications

Direct and group messages, mentions, photos, notices, read activity, support requests, concerns, escalations, and replies.

Photos and Files

Work proof, before-and-after evidence, chat attachments, business verification documents, support screenshots, and related file metadata that users choose to submit.

Billing

Plan identifiers, entitlement status, store transaction references, renewal status, verification results, and company access state. Apple and Google process payment credentials.

Device and Service Data

App version, device platform, notification tokens and permissions, Firebase installation and service identifiers, Android advertising identifiers where available, sign-in events, crash reports, diagnostics, integrity signals, and service activity.

Analytics and Campaign Events

Firebase Analytics receives mobile-app events on iOS and Android. On Android only, Meta App Events also receives events such as app opens, completed registrations, paywall views, checkout starts, and subscription activations for app-event and campaign measurement. Events may include the Taskynx account identifier, device platform, plan, product identifier, proof type, or capture source when relevant to the event.

Safety Review Data

When a message is reported or automated threat detection identifies language requiring review, Taskynx may preserve the selected message, up to four recent messages preceding it, sender and reporter details, timestamps, submitted proof references, report reasons, and generated threat signals.

How information is used

Provide Operations

Authenticate users, connect company teams, deliver messages and notifications, coordinate schedules and tasks, store evidence, and calculate operational views.

Company Visibility

Show authorized leadership company records needed to coordinate work, review submitted proof, manage access, address concerns, and maintain operational continuity.

Security and Support

Verify businesses and subscriptions, prevent abuse, investigate failures, answer support requests, enforce permissions, and protect accounts and company workspaces.

Safety Detection and Human Review

Taskynx uses automated rules to identify certain threat, violence, or targeted-harm language in company chats. A match is a review signal, not a final decision. Authorized Æffinityone safety administrators may review the preserved conversation context and take or decline an action.

Analytics and Service Improvement

Measure account and onboarding activity, understand feature and subscription funnels, attribute campaigns, diagnose errors, improve workflows, and maintain the service.

Access, sharing, and retention

Company Access

Employers and authorized leadership may access workplace records according to their role. Users should understand their company's policies before submitting workplace information.

Æffinityone Administrator Access

Authorized Æffinityone personnel may access safety reports, preserved message context, support submissions, account and company status, subscription verification results, crash diagnostics, and moderation records when needed to operate, secure, support, or enforce Taskynx.

Service Providers

Taskynx uses Google Firebase for authentication, cloud databases, file storage, notifications, analytics, crash reporting, and app integrity; Apple and Google for mobile subscriptions; and, on Android only, Meta App Events for app-event and campaign measurement. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Standard Account Deletion

The standard Delete Account control removes company access, chat membership, work-area assignments, notification targeting, and presence immediately. The requesting device signs out and authentication refresh tokens are revoked. The authentication account, Taskynx profile, personal settings, and profile subrecords are scheduled for permanent deletion after a 30-day recovery period.

Additional Employer Removal

An additional employer who is not the primary company owner may instead use Delete Employer Account in the Owner Dashboard. Taskynx immediately removes employer access, marks the employer profile as deleted and terminated, signs the user out, and attempts to delete the authentication account. This separate route does not provide the standard 30-day in-app recovery period.

Company and Billing Records

Shared messages, assignments, proof, schedules, escalations, audits, company username references, and other workplace records remain with an active company workspace without a fixed automatic deletion date. Company-level subscription verification, transaction references, entitlement state, and billing-event records may also remain to operate access, prevent duplicate claims, resolve disputes, and maintain store records.

Safety Evidence Retention

Dismissed platform safety reports are scheduled for deletion 30 days after their latest status update. Reports resulting in a platform action are scheduled for deletion after 365 days. Open or actively reviewed reports may remain while review is pending. A legal hold, dispute, security need, or legal obligation may extend these periods.

Verification, Support, and Aggregate Data

Business-verification documents and support screenshots remain while referenced or needed to verify a company, resolve a request, prevent fraud, document a decision, or protect the service. Unreferenced verification files older than 30 days may be removed through administrator cleanup. De-identified lifecycle totals may be retained after account deletion to measure signups, onboarding, deletions, and paid activation without retaining the deleted profile in those totals.

Legal and Business Events

Information may be disclosed when required by law or transferred during a merger, financing, reorganization, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to applicable safeguards.

Your choices

Depending on your role, you may update profile and notification settings, control camera, photo, and notification permissions through your device, contact company leadership, report a message, submit a privacy request, or delete your account. Taskynx does not currently provide a separate in-app switch for Firebase Analytics or Meta App Events on Android. Meta App Events is not initialized by the iOS app. The standard Delete Account route removes company access immediately and provides a 30-day recovery period before eligible account data is permanently deleted. An additional non-primary employer may instead use Delete Employer Account in the Owner Dashboard for immediate employer-access removal without that standard recovery period. Shared company operational records remain with an active workspace and may continue to show the former user's name, user identifier, submitted text, timestamps, and evidence. A primary company owner must contact Taskynx support to arrange an ownership transfer before deleting the account. Contact admin@aeffinityone.com for eligible access, correction, deletion, or data-copy requests.

Security, children, and changes

Taskynx uses authenticated access, role-based permissions, service verification, and other safeguards, but no system is completely secure. Taskynx is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the service or law changes and will provide notice where required.
