This Privacy Policy explains how Æffinityone LLC collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use Qonstellation, a private book creation and visual storytelling app.

Information We Collect
Book Content
Book titles, author names, covers, story text, page order, bookmarks, drafts, uploaded images, editing metadata, and recently deleted book records that you choose to create or save.
Purchases & Entitlements
Product identifiers, purchase status, transaction references, entitlement status, and renewal information needed to provide subscription features. Apple and Google process payment credentials; Qonstellation does not receive your complete card number.
Device & Service Data
App version, device platform, notification permission and token, authentication events, service errors, crash information, security signals, and diagnostics needed to operate and protect the app.
Analytics & Campaign Events
Firebase Analytics and first-party aggregate analytics record app opens, registrations, sign-ins, book and page activity, paywall and checkout activity, verified subscriptions, and account-deletion requests on iOS and Android. On Android only, Meta App Events receives app opens, completed registrations, book-created events, paywall views, checkout starts, and verified subscription events. Events may include the Qonstellation account identifier, sign-in method, device platform, plan, product identifier, event result, feature name, subscription amount, or currency. They do not include book titles, story text, search text, email addresses, display names, or uploaded images.
Support Information
Messages, contact details, screenshots, and other information you provide when requesting account, billing, privacy, or technical support.
Photo Access
Qonstellation accesses photos only when you choose images for a cover or story page. Selected images may be uploaded to cloud storage so they remain available with your book.
Writing Safety Records
If saved text meets a narrowly defined serious-safety threshold, we may create a case containing a bounded excerpt, a limited context packet, detected categories and signals, technical case metadata, the related book and page identifiers, and the associated account identifier. A snapshot of the flagged page may be preserved so later edits do not change the evidence under review.
How We Use Information
Provide the Studio
Authenticate your account, save and sync books, display your library, restore eligible deleted books, and provide editing and preview features.
Subscriptions
Apply plan limits, verify purchases, restore entitlements, and provide customer support for subscription access.
Safety & Reliability
Prevent abuse, protect account access, assess narrowly defined serious-safety signals in saved writing, diagnose crashes, monitor service health, enforce product limits, and improve app performance.
Analytics & Measurement
Measure account, feature, subscription, and campaign activity, understand how the app is used, evaluate conversion activity, and improve Qonstellation.
Communications
Send authentication, verification, password-reset, service, support, and optional notification messages related to your account and books.
Storage, Sharing, and Retention
Service Providers
Qonstellation uses Google Firebase for authentication, cloud databases, file storage, notifications, analytics, crash reporting, and app integrity; Apple and Google for mobile subscriptions; and, on Android only, Meta App Events for app-event and campaign measurement. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.
No Book Distribution
Qonstellation is a private creation tool, not a public book marketplace or social feed. We do not publish your books for other users to browse unless a future sharing feature is clearly presented and you choose to use it.
Restricted Safety Review
Authorized safety reviewers initially receive only the limited case packet. Account identity and additional page context are separately role-restricted, require a documented reason, and are audit logged. This process does not provide routine access to an entire book.
Safety Retention
Writing-safety cases are ordinarily scheduled to expire 30 days after creation and resolved or dismissed records are ordinarily deleted after that period. Escalated records or related content may be retained longer while a legal or safety hold is active.
Recently Deleted Books
Books moved to Recently Deleted may remain recoverable for up to 30 days before permanent deletion. Related uploaded files may be removed during permanent deletion and cleanup.
Account Deletion
In-app account deletion removes eligible account data, books, story pages, covers, images, settings, and authentication access. Limited records may be retained when required for legal compliance, billing, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement.
Legal Disclosures
We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, Æffinityone, the service, or the rights and safety of others.
Business Changes
Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards.
Your Choices and Rights
You may update account settings, control notifications through the app and device settings, delete individual books, recover eligible books during the recovery window, or delete your account in Settings. Qonstellation does not currently provide a separate in-app switch for Firebase Analytics or Meta App Events on Android. Qonstellation does not request Apple App Tracking Transparency permission, does not initialize Meta App Events on iOS, and removes Android advertising-ID permissions. Meta may still receive Android app events, the account identifier, and limited event context described above under Meta's own terms and privacy policy. You may also contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of eligible personal information, subject to applicable law and identity verification.
Children, Security, and Changes
Qonstellation is not directed to children under 13. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure. We may update this policy as the app or law changes and will update the date above when we do.
